Florida 2000-Election Integrity is born. November 2000

Following the November 2000 election, under the leadership of Bruce Eberle, Election Integrity 2000 (later known as MillionsofAmericans.com) is created to preserve the fair election results in Florida. In the following two weeks, petitions are collected and delivered to Sec. of State Katherine Harris urging her to Certify the Bush Victory in Florida. In the end, 335,656 petitions are delivered.There was still work to be done though.


Election Integrity 2000 staff overnighted your petitions to Florida, first asking Sec. of State Katherine Harris to certify the election, and then delivering petitions to Gore's office after he refused to concede.

Whereas, George W. Bush won the popular vote in the state of Florida; and,

Whereas, Even after the recount, George W. Bush is still the clear winner; and,

Whereas, instead of conceding or accepting the results of the Florida election and recount, Al Gore's people are demanding "hand counting" of ballots in Democratic counties; and,

Whereas, Al Gore's lawyers have gone even further and are insisting that so-called dimpled ballots should go in Gore's favor while simultanesouly fighting to disqualify military ballots that heavily favor Bush; and,

Therefore, We, the American people, urge you to keep fighting for election integrity and to certify George W. Bush's election victory in Florida.
