Saying "Thank You", one last time. September 2001-January 2002

Sen. Jesse Helms announces his plans to retire, and MOA posts a "Thank You" card at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Bruce Eberle's brother, Bob, and the MillionsofAmericans.com webmaster, Jordan Gehrke present the senator with the card and thank him for his long career of service, and his willingness to champion the conservative cause. Over 22,656 readers signed the card. We did something similar for Rush Limbaugh.

MillionsofAmericans.com staff boxed up all the cards and mailed them to Rush. There were 6 full boxes!

"Thank You" Card for Sen. Jesse Helms
22,656 signers

Dear Senator Helms,

For over 30 years, you have been a powerful force in the Senate for the conservative cause.

You have been a champion on the Armed Services Committee for years, arguing passionately against communism, abortion, government funding of obscene art, and many other important social issues.

Sen. Helms, you will be sorely missed. There is simply no one else like you. Regardless of who succeeds you, you will never be replaced.

On behalf of MillionsofAmericans.com, and 22,656 other grateful Americans, we thank you for your service, Sir.

God bless you and your family in the years to come.

For America,

Bruce Eberle
