| Whereas, | George W. Bush won the popular vote in the state
of Florida; and, |
| Whereas, | Even after the recount, George W. Bush is still
the clear winner; and, |
| Whereas, | Instead of conceding or accepting the results of
the Florida election and recount, Al Gore's people are demanding "hand
counting" of ballots in Democratic counties; and, |
| Whereas, | Al Gore’s lawyers have gone even further and are
insisting that so-called dimpled ballots should go in Gore’s favor
while simultaneously fighting to disqualify military ballots that
heavily favor Bush; and, |
| Therefore, | We, the American people, urge you to keep fighting
for election integrity and to certify George W. Bush's election victory
in Florida. |
